About the Board: The Ohio Senior Olympics Board of Trustees has a maximum of twenty-three (23) members. Members include one representative of each of the local games. The by-laws set a maximum of twelve local games in the state, therefore 12 board slots are available for member games’ representatives.
An additional eleven members may be “at-large” members. At-large members include individuals who have an interest in the games and who bring needed skills to the organization.
Term of office: At large members serve two year terms, for a maximum of two consecutive terms. Board terms will follow a calendar year.

What happens next?
The membership committee reviews and discusses the applications.
The membership committee recommends nominees to the full board for vote and approval at the fall meeting of the Board (typically held in October). The number of nominees accepted to the board must not exceed the open At Large Board positions.
The membership chair will notify new members of their addition to the board.
Board member terms begin in January of the following year.
